BUSHMAN WORLD UKULELE VIDEO CONTEST

At Bushman, we LOVE the ukulele. We really enjoy seeing you love the ukulele. We want to encourage all uke players around the world to help us spread the word about this fun, life-changing musical instrument. With that in mind, we're hosting the 2nd Annual BUSHMAN WORLD UKULELE VIDEO CONTEST and we invite you to join in the fun. PRIZES

First Prize: Choice of any Bushman Ukulele and a Bushman Tweed Case and a Bushman Endorsement deal.

Second Prize: Choice of any Bushman Ukulele, and a Black Knight Case and a Bushman Endorsement deal.

Third Prize: Choice of any Bushman Ukulele and a Bushman Endorsement deal.

Fourth Prize: Choice of any Bushman Ukulele Case, and an Electronic Clip-On Tuner.

Fifth Prize: Choice of any Bushman Ukulele Case.

5 Honorable Mentions will be Awarded: 3 Sets of any size of Aquila Strings offered by Bushman

All winners above will also be awarded Free Admission Tickets to our Ukulele Luau.

RULES

1.) Contest begins October 1, 2008 and ends at midnight on December 31, 2008. Prizes will be awarded and winners posted here on January 4, 2009.

2.) Any brand of ukulele can be used - it does not have to be a Bushman.

3.) All entries must be made specifically for this contest, and contestants must introduce themselves and make a reference to the Bushman World Ukulele Video Contest at the beginning of their video.

4.) Contestants can submit as many entries as they wish. Entries can come from individuals or groups or clubs. In the case of groups and clubs, they will have to share the prize if they win - only one prize will be awarded per winning club or group. Any HUMAN living anywhere in the world is invited to enter. Bushman will pay all shipping costs for the prizes to be sent anywhere in the world. The Prizes will be marked "Gift" to help prevent customs and duty fees.

5.) Entries will be made by Emailing Us a link pointing to the location where the video being entered is stored. Videos can be stored at YouTube.com or Myspace.com. An example of a link is http://youtube.com/watch?v=U-lt3vVA-4I

6.) Entries will be judged on a variety of factors including: presentation, creativity, techical ability, humor, and/or entertainment value with "entertainment value" being the most heavily weighted factor. With each video we judge the first question we ask is, "Would we go out of our way to watch the video again?". Skilled players can win, but they can't beat skilled players who are also creative entertainers. 5 "Honorable Mentions" will be awarded to contestants who show outstanding enthusiasm for the ukulele.

7.) All qualifying entries will be posted here. Posted entries will include the date the entry was submitted and the name of the contestant who submitted it.
