BUSHMAN WORLD HARMONICA VIDEO CONTEST

The harmonica will always be close to the heart of Bushman. Watching harmonica players on YouTube.com is fun. We wanted to add to the fun by hosting a worldwide video contest. In 2007, our contest was a big success as it brought together harmonica players and enthusiasts from all around the world. Many of the entrants became friends with viewers, fans and other entrants. And many got exposure that they would not have received otherwise. Start preparing today for this year's contest which begins on October 1st, 2008. Click here to see last year's winners. Second Prize: Bushman Delta Frost 12 Key Set

All winners above will receive Free Admission Tickets to our Bean Blossom Blues, Brews and BBQ.

RULES

1.) Contest begins October 1, 2008 and ends at midnight on December 31, 2008. Prizes will be awarded and winners posted here on January 4, 2009.

2.) Any brand of harmonica can be used - it does not have to be a Bushman.

3.) All entries must be made specifically for this contest, and contestants must introduce themselves and make a reference to the Bushman World Harmonica Video Contest at the beginning of their video.

4.) Contestants can submit as many entries as they wish. Entries can come from individuals or groups or clubs. In the case of groups and clubs, they will have to share the prize if they win - only one prize will be awarded per winning club or group. Any HUMAN living anywhere in the world is invited to enter. Bushman will pay all shipping costs for the prizes to be sent anywhere in the world. The Prizes will be marked "Gift" to help prevent customs and duty fees.

5.) Entries will be made by Emailing Us a link pointing to the location where the video being entered is stored. Videos can be stored at YouTube.com or Myspace.com. An example of a link is http://pl.youtube.com/watch?v=4xIkwkph0DM

6.) Entries will be judged on a variety of factors including: presentation, creativity, techical ability, humor, and/or entertainment value. The most skilled player will not necessarily be the winner - the videos we enjoy the most will be the winners. Several "Honorable Mentions" will be awarded to contestants who show outstanding enthusiasm for the harmonica.

7.) All qualifying entries will be posted here. Posted entries will include the date the entry was submitted and the name of the contestant who submitted it.
